Sign language
What is sign language?
Sign language is the language used by the deaf and hearing-impaired to communicate with one another and with hearing people in a meaningful and effective way. Similarly, tactile signing is the system used by deafblind people in order to be able to communicate fully.
It entails the use of gestures, hand movements and facial and body expressions to convey concepts and meanings. Each country or region has its own sign language, with its own grammar and lexicon.
All too often, these people are overlooked at educational, social and work events, making them inaccessible to them.
If you want your event to be fully inclusive, we can provide qualified Spanish sign language interpreters. Don’t hesitate to ask us about the service.
